Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
Unlike other forms of bankruptcy, Chapter 13 does not completely discharge your unsecured debts. Instead, you work with your debtors to create a reasonable repayment plan that allows you to pay back a portion of your debt over a three to five year period. After you’ve made all of the required payments, any remaining debts are then discharged.
